Caorle is one of the most popular resorts in northern Italy and is chosen by many people, especially families with children, for their holidays every year. Caorle is located only about 50km east of Venice and has its own historic centre with romantic winding streets and a tourist port. Few people know that the winding streets in the centre of Caorle used to be water channels a few hundred years ago, which were later filled in. In fact, Caorle was once like a little Venice!
Nowadays, Caorle is a popular tourist resort, especially for its sandy beaches with a gentle entrance to the sea and the variety of possibilities for spending your holidays. Caorle is today divided into 4 districts - Caorle Levante, Caorle Ponente, Caorle Porto Santa Margherita and Caorle Lido di Altanea. The historic centre, the harbour and the water park are right in Caorle. Porto Santa Margherita is separated from Caorle only by the Livenza River and is a modern pleasant resort with a long beach and all services. The last part is Caorle Altanea - a green meadow resort with modern rooms and a wide range of facilities. accommodation, especially villas with swimming pools, especially suitable for families with children. There are no discos here, but instead animation programmes for children of all ages.
