Hotel Corona Ischia. Hotel Corona on Ischia enjoys a quiet location in a well-kept garden with a beautiful lawn between the centre of Forio and the Citara zone. A private path (300 m) leads to the spacious sandy beach of Cava dell'Isola, only about 500 m away. Only 900 m from the hotel is another sandy beach, Citara, with the famous thermal park of the Poseidon Gardens. The historic centre of Forio (1 km) can be reached by a beautiful and romantic walk along the sea (or by bus, stop 50 m). Guests have at their disposal a restaurant, air-conditioned public areas, garden, bar, free WI-FI in public areas, TV room, sun terrace, indoor swimming pool with hydromassage bath, outdoor mineral pool. Possibility to use the thermal baths in the nearby hotel. Rooms with air conditioning available on request at extra charge. Standard rooms with window are located in the building with reception, rooms with terrace are located on the ground floor in the garden (on request for a fee), several rooms with balcony and sea view are located on the first floor of the building with reception (on request for a fee).
Half-board meals: breakfast buffet, dinner served with a choice of menu (1st course - pasta, soup, 2nd course - meat, fish, vegetables), dessert.

Discounts for 3rd bed: child under 2 years without bed for a fee 70 €/week (cot can be rented for € 7/day, payable locally and must be requested in advance), children under 12 years 30% discount, adults 20% discount.

Mandatory sojourn tax of approx. 1-2 €/person/day is payable.

Určite sa nevrátime.

Position:
Hotel sa nachádza asi 15 min. cesty od prístavu, 4 zastávky autobusom. Od mora je asi 600 m avšak cesta je dole z kopca. Ešte smerom na pláž je to v pohode avšak po celom dni strávenom na pláži na slnku vystúpať ten kopec je poriadna makačka.

Staff:
Personál je celkom fajn aj keď na 3 hviezdičkový hotel by som si predstavovala trošku precíznejšie upratovanie.

facilities of accommodation (hotel, residence):
Wifi je len vo vstupnej hale, klimatizácia za 8,- EUR na deň toto sa mi na 3 hviezdičkový hotel zdalo dosť tragikomické, nakoľko vonku bolo 40 stupňov. Vôbec by som tento hotel nezaradila do kategórie 3 hviezdičky, je to skôr penzión.

facilities of apartment:
Izby sú malé, kúpeľňa miniatúrna. Izby nemajú chladničku ani trezor na odloženie cenností. Zariadenie je staré, jedna skriňa, dva nočné stolíky, posteľ a malí pisací stolík.

Beach:
Pláž je pekná , more čisté , 2 lehátka + slnečník na celý deň stojí 10,- EUR. Občas sme však našli v mori kovové tyče ako pozostatky nejakého lešenia takže pozor pri vstupe do mora. Tiež na celej pláži je jeden odpadkový kôš asi v strede, čo prejsť na boso po horúcom piesku je skoro nemožné.

Sport and entertainment:
Šport až na vodné bicykle vôbec nič, zábava tiež nič. NUDA!!!!

Board:
Raňajky švédske stoly ale veeeeeeľmi úbohé. Večera nič moc. Za celý pobyt sme si pochutnali asi len raz a to na králikovi.
