In winter, the famous mountains in the Pustertal / Pusteria valley are number one. The valley is located in South Tyrol. On the northern slope you go down to Reischach. On the east side towards the town of Olang, where there are wide carving slopes, fantastic conditions for skiers and snowboarders and the west side is a fascinating landscape towards San Vigilio.

One day of skiing on the Plan de Corones really brings everything we need to enjoy a perfect day on the slopes. You can conquer three ski areas, three mountains Plan de Corones, Klausberg and Speikboden with or without skis. The mountains are located between the towns of Bruneck / Brunico 838 m.n.m., St. Vigil 1 201 m.n.m. and Olang 1,080 m.n.m .., with its beautiful slopes, in sight of everything, because the slopes are almost never lined with trees. 116 km of pistes and 32 transport facilities make this mountain resort one of the destinations that have been called the vanguard of South Tyrol. As for the categories of slopes, we will find here everything that beginners, so-called casual skiing fans, require. There is, for example: a full-length track, which is quite wide and which makes it easy to get downhill to the valley, so even beginners do not have to worry about night skiing. On the other hand, the "Black Five" slope will take us to five black descents, requiring a certain skill even for experienced skiers. you can head towards Alta Badia and join the world-famous Sella Ronda circuit.

Even snowboarders and freestylers will not be disappointed. Kronplatz recently changed its snow park, with Belvedere it has both Easy Line and Medium Line. In short, adrenaline, fun and strong emotions are really taken care of here.

You can overcome all this on the Dolomiti Superski ski passes, because every sport lover will certainly not miss the already mentioned Alta Badia valley, where there is a shuttle service directly from Pikolein. The ride takes 20 minutes, you call the skis again and the Sella Ronda circuit is yours.

But let's not forget the attractions even in summer. This is the Plan de Corones a popular destination for those who like to walk, but also for those who like to sit in the saddle of a bicycle, for families with children and culture lovers. Summer holidays in the Kronplatz recreation area are very popular. Nature is enchanting and unforgettable and sports lovers cannot let it pass through their fingers. Three national parks do, but in addition to them, it is mainly varied by the mountain world. Quiet forest paths, challenging climbs to the peaks and steep slopes attract mostly climbers. We must not forget the wide selection of climbing routes. It doesn't matter how you conquer the top, because the top of the mountain will always reward you with a beautiful view. Those who prefer cycling will have a good impression of the unlimited possibilities that the mountains offer. After a challenging climb, on steep trails, the cyclist will enjoy a fast descent and freeriding.

Lovers of water sports can also try rafting or canoeing. And what about paragliding or tandem. Those who are not afraid to fly in the air will be rewarded again with an unforgettable view of the tourist area. Those who prefer to have their feet firmly on the ground can play golf on a 9-hole field.
