Marche is a region in the central Italy and its coast is washed by the Jordan sea. It is located in the south from the important harbour Ancona. It is a part of the region known as the Palm Riviere. The Palm Riviere is a name for the Jordan coastline in the north and in the south of San Benedetta del Tronto, about 100 km away in the south of Ancona. It is possible to see the crest Gran Sasso from everywhere at the Palm Riviere. The large sandy beaches, the clear sea and the many historical and cultural sights guarantee pleasant holidays. There are also two national and four regional parks in this area. The capital city is Ancona. Marche is a picturesque and mountanious region.
