Sibari is a town at the coast of the Jordan Sea in the southern Italy, in Calabria. While the tourist resort with the hotels and apartments is right at the coastline, the original centre is about 3 km inlands and it was set up as a greek settlement in the 8th century b.c. this big antique city was destroyed in 510 b.c. and today it is being gradually rediscovered - we definitely recommend a visit of the local museum and the archeological park Parco archeologico di Sibari.
The local beaches hace a soft sand and a gradual entrance into the sea, which is crystal clear with occasional so called lakes Sibari.

Az apartmannak van saját strand része, maximálisan meg vagyunk ezzel elégedve, erről a saját homokos "kertből" egy hídon át lehet az igazi strandra lejutni, az ott lévő strand szervizt külön díj ellenében lehet megvásárolni.

Plaja in Bibione e lata, curata, marea placuta (am prin si zile cu meduze sau putine alge). In drept cu hotelul sunt zeci de metri de la apa pana la primele sezlonguri si mai e si o zona generoasa pentru cei ce vor umbrelele lor.
How did we spend our vacation in Sibari
The premises is newly built, with a swimming pool in the centre – half of it is for children (not so deep) and there were free sun beds available. The whole resort is fenced in, so it is secure. The apartment was spacy (we had an apartment for 7 people and I very much appreciated the two bathrooms), the beach is 700 m away, but there is a little shuttle train. In sum, we really enjoyed it and we are planning to come back again.
Noi am fost la sfarsit de august / inceput de septembrie; afara era placut, apa potrivita, am putut sta toata ziua la mare. Perfect pentru familii cu copii, pentru sfarsitul vacantei.
