Park and Villa Pallavicino on Lake Maggiore

Villa Pallavicino

If you are in the mood for a nice walk in nature and wondering what to see at Lake Maggiore, then we highly recommend you to consider visiting the park and the magnificent Villa Pallavicino from the 19th century. it is the star of the hillside on the lake shore.

Villa Pallavicino
In early 2021, the purchase of the Villa and Park Pallavicino by Prince Vitaliano Borromeo was completed, an event that marked a new beginning for Lake Maggiore's tourist industry and heralded the rebirth of this magnificent estate.

Parco di Villa Pallavicino
The Pallavicino Park, which covers a vast area of 200,000 square metres and is home to magnificent English gardens, centuries-old trees, flowering avenues and an incredible botanical garden, has today regained its former glory thanks to the perfect care of the greenery and the security of the paths.

A visit to the park is suitable for everyone, young and old, thanks to the many attractions that allow you to spend a day outdoors in contact with nature and in complete relaxation.

Parco Pallavicino

Farm
One of the most interesting points is definitely the "Farmers' Area", in whichyou can get close to the animals that live freely in huge natural enclosures.during the walk, you can observe beautiful specimens of fallow deer and llamas up close in an area without bars, but completely safe for both visitors and the well-being of the animals themselves.

Right next to the fallow deer and llama lodge you will also find raccoon cubs, adorable little faces running hither and yon. The temptation to reach out is always strong, but the sign warns that despite their angelic appearance - they bite!
In the beautiful grounds of the Botanical Gardens you can sip coffee and watch the elegant peacocks moving freely around the lawn.

In terms of flora, the park of Villa Pallavicino also offers incredible diversity. The lush gardens alone are worth a visit, as they slope steeply and offer spectacular views of the lake and surrounding mountains.

Farma Pallavicino

The park is only open in season, so we always recommend checking the current opening hours.

the 2023 season is scheduled to run from March 16 to November 5, 2023. For more information, click here.
